All of our tools are built on a standard platform allowing customers to either modify part of an existing design or completely redesign for a new requirement – this not only reduces cost but also reduces time to market with massively reduced risk.
Souriau do not make data solutions for their superb UTS series – GK have created scalable tooling to allow other connector styles to be molded into a UTS housing – Such as USB, HDMI or RJ45. Time to market for these examples was 2 weeks with minimal tooling cost
Most of our overmolding is High pressure injection molding – we do have a strong capability for low pressure molds, which we maintain predominantly for less harsh environments
